Thank you! Recently, repetition seems to be creeping into my writing more and more (and more... and more... and... 😁). I'm guessing it's partly a result of years spent hanging out with Salena Godden - Salena uses a lot of repetition, and it's particularly powerful in a spoken word context.
As for the illustration... I'm almost ashamed to admit that it's AI-generated. Although I have a somewhat strange angle on AI, an approach which started out as a conceit, but has had some weird & wonderful consequences (not least being asked to submit art to a major show in a London gallery earlier this year): I treat my digital alter-ego "The Mycoleum" as a kind of animistic channelling of the intentions of electrons, a mouthpiece for the desires of silicon & copper.
