Howlin’ Wolf
Dad’s band, Dissatisfied, supported Howlin’ Wolf at the Railway Tavern Hampstead, in the early 60s. They were Wolf’s backing band. Afterwards, a drunken Chester Burnett said “you boys come JAM with me in Chicago!”
Dad never got to Chicago. But now, my father is in the room, in Liverpool, Toxteth.
